My Future Starts With a Plan
- Student objective
- Identify a resource and a next step when learning becomes difficult.
- Academic practice
- Reading comprehension, evidence-based explanation, discussion, and writing.
- Activity
- Read a short scenario, identify the challenge and supporting details, then write a realistic help-seeking plan.
- Assessment
- A written plan showing the challenge, a trusted resource, and a practical next step.
- Family extension
- Practice one help-seeking sentence and identify one trusted school adult.
How we will measure learning
Planned measures include workshop-specific baseline checks, student work, exit assessments, participation records, and family feedback. Future results will name the assessment, dates, number of participants, and limitations. Workshop improvement will not be presented as proof that EFF raised state test scores.
Student experience
Workbooks, shirts, certificates, and celebrations may support belonging and completion. Certificates will recognize participation or program completion; they are not academic credentials.
